hey i use kptunes to download music for my iPod and then once i get enough songs downloaded then i connect my iPod with my pc and SYNC all my music through iTunes and transfer them easily onto your iPod. if you really want to download music then try using where you will find each and every music you want from any artist you like. they have the largest network and huge database. the best thing i like is, there is no popups or advertisement.
you need to use iTunes available as a free download from apple.com. it's the software that allows your computer to communicate with the iPod. that doesn't mean that you have to GET or BUY all your music from iTunes tho. you can use any of the shareware stuff (limewire,frostwire, bearshare etcdownload music to your ipod) but you have to be very careful of viruses and know that it is illegal to download the music/video files. lots of people still do it but know the risks before you do. you can also import your own CDs, friends CD's, music you already have on your computer and so on. one thing that has helped me a lot is the use of a jump drive. i have a few of them and my friends and I will copy files from each others computers which prevents the need to burn CD's etc. nice idea and you can use it a million times over. so saves money in the long run!!
