download music onto ipod freeWhats an easy and fast way 2 download music onto an ipod classic for free?

What is an easy and fast way 2 download music onto an iod classic for free? Without hacking into it or stealing music from websites.
I assume you mean downloading to an iPod music that you don't already have. In other words, you're asking how to get music over the internet, right?

You'll see a bunch of answers posted by total idiots telling you to get Limewire - ignore them. These people have very likely downloaded a version of the program that's ridden w/malware.

The irony is that Limewire, probably the best known of today's file sharing apps, isn't all that good in any event. I tried it (then had to wipe my HD) and found that the selection and download speed were mediocre (at best) in comparison to what I could still get using eMule & WinMX - 2 file sharing apps supposedly defunct or considered eclipsed by LW (and its variant, Frostwire).

The problem with any file share is that 1) you will be "stealing music" by downloading it from people who have no license to publish it (which is what they do when they make it available for unlimitdownload music onto ipod freeed copying) & 2) there is no way to guarantee that the file-share app (which you will have to install) won't have malware embedded on it.

There are safer alternatives.

Though it's not as easy as doing it purely online, ripping songs from CD's is still easy to do. In fact, CD's are (or at least were until recently) the source for most music existing on iPods and other players. Your friends, your family or your public library are all great sources of CD music that won't cost a dime. Best of all, you don't really need any software. Itunes, WMP and many other free programs will "rip" the tracks of the CD into MP3 files.

Another way to get music is by recording it off the radio - internet radio to be precise. This is how we "compact cassette" used to get a lot of our music in the old days. Only instead of slipping a tape in the deck, tuning in your station & hitting "record", you can log onto any number of internet radio stations that will stream audio through your soundcard. You can then use a program like "Adownload music onto ipod freeudacity" to record taht stream (saving it as a wav file or an MP3) and when you find songs you want to save, you can use Audacity's editing functions to make copies of the parts of the stream that contain that song.

I have yet to see the 2nd option discussed legally. Even if the RIAA knows that you're listening to internet radio, I don't think they can tell if you're recording the stream.
you can download your songs from Limewire:

limewire is a filesharing program. you'll be able to find almost any song you want.

once you've done this, drag the songs from limewire into itunes with your mouse.
