So for a few weeks, my hp laptop's wireless internet didn't work. I had to use a Netgear WG511 Wireless PC Card. However last night, my computer's internal wireless card apparently decided to start working again. I downloaded the Broadcom Wireless Utility because when I checked for updates on the hp website, that came up. That's how I found out that the intebroadcom wireless utility downloadrnal wireless was working again. It asked me to connect to my father's wireless network because it found it. My question comes in now. It has signal, but only 1!
It sounds like you are having conflicts with other wireless modem routers in the area. Try the following;
In the router settings (open internet explorer and type the following (this is just an exambroadcom wireless utility downloadple as it depending on the router) Go to advanced setup, wireless settings, and find the place where it says broadcast channel or somethin like that. if it is set to auto chose one of the settings from the list, any of them. if it is one of the settings from the list, put it to auto. if it doesnt work then just put it back,
