I think I accidentally uninstalled a previous version of Reader, yet there is still an Adobe 7 on my desktop. However, I think I removed an earlier Adobe program. What can I do to fix this problem? I cannot odownload adobe reader 8.1.2pen ANY page with Adobe Reader 8.1.2. Help!
Go to"Add and Remove Programs" in the control panel. Remove the all versions of the program and restart your machine. Go to Adobe's website and download a cleandownload adobe reader 8.1.2 version of the program.
Remove your Adobe 7 (uninstall)
Then install Adobe 8.1.2.
If still can't work, uninstall both
then down load the newest version, and install again.
